Arcos de la Almona is built in traditional Spanish style to the highest standard using traditional materials including hand-made tiles. Recently converted and occupying the top floor of a pretty building, the decoration has been undertaken by the owners personally, providing clients with the quality they have in their own home whilst maintaining the character and Moorish style that is traditional in Frigiliana.
Situated in the oldest part of Frigiliana that was, in the age of Nazari, an area where soap was made. The Arabs called these small craft industries 'Almonas' and today this is the name of the street. The name Los Arcos suits the property as there are nine arches in the top of the building. Located on the Northern side of Frigiliana, Arcos de la Almona is close to the traditional Spanish bars and restaurants.
Although in a traffic free street you are able to load and unload baggage almost outside the front door.
