Calle Paz is a charming house, situated to the east of Malaga, in the delightful mountain village of Torrox. The village has a beautiful tree lined square with a range of bars, restaurants and shops. The traditional Andalucian house is 2 minutes walk from the square.
The house has been carefully restored without losing its original rustic charm. The thick walls and beamed ceilings help keep the house cool in summer and retain heat in winter. There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a double bed. Linen and towels are provided.
Five minutes walk from the house is the newly built village swimming pool. The beaches of Torrox Costa are 4 km away where there are plenty of restaurants, tennis courts, etc. There are golf courses 20 minutes drive at Anoreta and Torre de Benagalbon and a brand new course is opening shortly at Velez Malaga.
The house is ideally placed for exploring this rich and varied region: the Mediterranean beaches like Nerja and Maro are within easy reach and the backdrop of the Sierras offers plenty of scope for walking or visiting other surrounding "white villages", while Moorish Granada and its famous Alhambra is an attractive day's outing. There are colourful weekly street markets in Torrox and surrounding towns and villages.
