Calle Tajo is a traditional white townhouse on the lower streets of Cómpeta, within 5 minutes walk of the main village square. There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a spacious roof terrace with panoramic views down the Sayalonga valley towards the sea and across to the Sierras. There is free parking available within 50 metres.
The house comprises:
Ground floor – lounge, small kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, kettle, crockery/cutlery/utensils etc, bathroom with bath/shower, WC and sink.
First floor – living room with sofas, bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and table.
Second floor – bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, door to covered terrace and steps up to roof terrace with panoramic views of local mountains and down through the valley towards the sea.
The steps are easily climbed – not the steep ones often found in the area.
Calle Tajo has been used by several club running groups and GB internationals as a warm weather training base. Anyone who wishes to try out some of the beautiful running routes from Competa can get detailed advice on where to run from the owner, who also has established links with the thriving club at Nerja
The house comfortably sleeps up to 4 people with a travel cot provided if required.

Prices are per week, inclusive of fuel usage, water and bed linen (please bring your own towels) for up to four people. Bookings overlapping monthly rates will be charged pro rata. Changeover day is flexible. Arrival after 4pm, departure by 10am (although owner is flexible where possible). A deposit of £50 is payable on booking with the full balance due eight weeks before departure. Cancellations will forfeit deposit unless a substitute booking is secured, in which case it is returned less a £15 administration fee. Discounts on longer lets are available by negotiation.
