Casa Blanca is a delightful rustic villa has been built in the style of a traditional finca, with wonderful beamed and timber ceilings to all rooms, authentic wooden windows with shutters and beautiful terracotta floors. It is conveniently located just 7 minutes from the pretty hillside village of Competa, known locally as the 'pearl of the Axarquia. Visually stunning the villa seems almost luminescent against the backdrop of the Sierra Almijara mountains.

Casa Blanca sits in a 3,000 meter plot with newly planted lemon and almond trees sharing the vista with the ancient olive trees. It is located 20 meters down a private concrete drive, just 2 minutes walk from the 'Pavo Real' restaurant off the Torrox to Competa road. Access to the villa is always on tarmac or concrete surfaces and suitable for any rental car, no windy dirt tracks to negotiate!

The Master Bedroom (The Green Room) has 1 double bed with en-suite shower room with basin and wc, two double wardrobes, bedside tables with lamps, and a chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2 (The Burgundy Room) has 2 single beds with double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3 (The Blue Room) has 2 single beds and a wardrobe.

There is a large Family bathroom with full size bath and over shower, bidet, wc and vanity unit.

A fully fitted wooden kitchen with integrated fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, double bowl sink, microwave and toaster. A separate utility room with an automatic washing machine, iron and ironing board and ample shelving.

An enormous living/dining area with a stone built wood burning fire, pine dining table and six chairs, one 3 seater and one 2 seater sofa, two coffee tables, satellite TV, Video, Hi-Fi with CD, tuner and cassette.

The villa is south facing with two terraces, a delightful shaded veranda and a covered pergola for 'al fresco' dining. The views are simply stunning from all around the property. The upper terrace has a planted area with a wonderful old olive tree and traditional terracotta sun terracing surrounding the kidney shaped swimming pool (the pool is very deep and not suitable for very young children). A large BBQ, ample sun lounges and teak dining furniture are all provided for your enjoyment. The lower terrace is covered with stone chippings and planted with young fruit trees.

The property also benefits from a detached garage.

Rates

The Euro rate may vary according to exchange rates at the time of booking. Prices are per week, inclusive of all outgoings. All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels). The property is cleaned and linen replaced at the beginning of each rental. Additional maid services are available on request. A 20% deposit will be required with confirmation of booking with the balance paid 4 weeks prior to departure. Late bookings are available. Saturday is the preferred changeover day, but other days may be considered subject to availability. Occupation of the property is after 4pm and vacation by 11am. For very early arrivals or late departures please advise at time of booking.
