Casa Cruz is a white village house with 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4. It is in a prime location on edge of National Park, less than 50 metres from the town square and parking, 25 minutes to the coast. There are a choice of cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarket nearby. 10 minute drive to Competa.

Archez is a traditional Andalusian village in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountain range. With the border of the Sierra de Tejeda National Park just up the road, the property provides an ideal base for walkers. There are stunning views of the valley and mountains from the village and the house is equipped to make your stay as comfortable, convenient and enjoyable as possible. There is a choice of cafe/restaurants and bars, there are also two small supermarkets open seven days a week. Competa, a larger town is ten minutes by car and although a small village, Archez boasts its own pharmacy, medical practice, swimming pool (during the summer) and an internet/email facility.

There are 3 small supermarkets in Canillas, another small village 2 kilometers away plus a bank, chemist, doctor, hardware store, internet point and swimming pool. There are 4 cafe/bar/restaurants in Canillas serving good food at attractive prices and more in Competa. There is a tennis court  located at the Hotel Balcon in Competa and their swimming pool is available to non-residents at a reasonable charge.

The championship Baviera Golf course is a 30 minute (approx) drive away.

Skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountain range is a 90 minute (approx) drive away.

There are excellent beaches at Torrox and Nerja, both about 35 minutes drive away down the winding road to the coast. At Torrox Costa there's a long sandy beach with numerous cafe/restaurants lining the promenade offering good food at very affordable prices. At Nerja, the superb caves are well worth a visit and the town boasts many shops and eating places.

Malaga Airport is about 1 hour away. Car hire is recommended. There is ample space to park in the town square. There is a also a reliable, air-conditioned bus service from Canillas to Malaga, via the coast, 3 times a day.

Competa is 10 minutes drive or 45 minute stroll away. Malaga town is an hours drive away. The nearest coastal resort of Torrox Costa is 25 minutes away and Nerja is a 40 minute drive.

Accommodation

Casa Cruz sleeps up to 4 people. The accommodation comprises:

Bedroom 1 with double bed, large wardrobe, bedside cabinet and heater.
Bedroom 2 with bunk beds, DVD player, chest of drawers and heater.
Both bedrooms en-suite with showers.
Kitchen with halogen hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Living room with easy chairs and sofa, flat screen TV, dining table with 4 chairs.
Outside there is a small terrace with bench and table.

Please note there is no smoking in the house.

Prices are per week, inclusive of welcome pack, electricity, bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels) for up to four people. Beds are made up prior to arrival and changed weekly for rentals of more than 1 week. The house is cleaned before and after occupation. Changeover day is flexible. Arrival after 2pm, departure by 10am, unless otherwise agreed. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required with the balance being paid 8 weeks before travel. A security/breakages/loss of keys deposit of £100 will also be required (refundable after inventory check on departure). Extended stays with reduced prices are welcome subject to availability.
