Casa Jalon is situated in the beautiful historic, whitewashed village of Cómpeta. Just 20 minutes inland from the bustling costal resorts of Nerja, Torrox and Torre Del Mar, Cómpeta nestles in between the stunning Parque Natural de las Sierras, declared in 1999 a protected nature reserve. Cómpeta itself, population of just 3000,offers a very warm welcome year after year to its many international visitors.

Spain has long been reputed for its ancient celebrations and hospitality and Cómpeta is no exception. The locals have a strong connection with their history and traditions and there is little more representative than the many fiestas and celebrations held in the village throughout the year.

Take a seat in the main Plaza Almijara, enjoy traditional tapas and take note of the Inglesia De La Asuncion. This symbolic 16^th century church with its tall tower is a distinctive landmark of Cómpeta.

Meander through the narrow streets and discover ‘real Spain’. Taste the delicious food in one of the many and varied restaurants or visit a local Bodega and sample some of the famous locally produced wines. Visit Cómpeta's street market or take advantage of the daily bus services to the coast or one of the neighbouring villages. Some visitors prefer to take advantage of the spectacular local terrain and the area is very popular for walking and horse riding.

Chill out and take in the breathtaking views from our beautiful villa situated just 15 minutes walk from the village centre.

Access to the villa through iron gates provides ample parking between the main house and separate annex.

At the back of the house is a huge tiled terraced area which leads to the kidney shaped pool with sunloungers and separate shower. There is also a covered patio area with ample seating for those who prefer to dine ‘ al fresco.’

Accommodation
Casa Jalon sleeps up to 10 people. The accommodation comprises:

The Main House (sleeps 4+2)
A conservatory leads through to the fully fitted kitchen comprising range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and copious amounts of crockery, cutlery , glassware and cooking utensils.

Off to the right and all on one level is the bathroom with large walk in shower ,wc and handbasin and storage. Towels are provided.

Bedroom 1 - kingsize bed, fitted wardrobes, drawers and dressing table and air conditioning.

Bedroom 2 - two single beds, wardrobe, drawers and dressing table and air conditioning.

Cots can be provided in either bedroom by prior arrangement .

Back through the kitchen, two steps will take you to the dining area with patio doors onto the terrace. There is also a sofa bed in this area. This spacious open plan arrangement then leads through to the large comfortable lounge with sofas, chairs, tv and wood burning stove .

The Annex (sleeps 4)
The Annex is an ideal extension for larger families or people holidaying with friends. The Annex contains a double bed and bunk beds (in the same room) plus a wardrobe and washing machine. There is also a separate shower room, wc and handbasin.

Casa Jalon has panoramic views over the mountains, down to the mediterranean sea. Cots, highchair and outdoor toys available upon request. Prices include a weekly linen change and welcome pack.

Prices are per week, inclusive of electricity, bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels) for up to ten people. Changeover day is flexible. Arrival after 2pm, departure by 10am, unless otherwise agreed. 25% non-refundable deposit on booking. Balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival. 150 euro security deposit refundable subject to satisfactory inspection upon departure.
