Ladera is newly built in traditional Andalucian style and set in a stunning position on the edge of Almijara National Park with south facing views to the Mediterranean and beyond to the Riff Mountains of Morocco. Tucked away amongst the beautiful Spanish countryside with a variety of trees in its own private gardens, including orange, lemon, avocado, cherry, apricot, peach, mango, fig, olive, almond and vineyards (make your own fresh juices!)

Ladera is 140 square metres, comprises of 3 double beds; 1 master bedroom with ensuite and large sun terrace upstairs; downstairs consists of 1 double bedroom with double bed and cot, and 1 bedroom with twin beds. 1 bathroom, 1 well equipped kitchen; lounge/diner; outside dining area, barbeque and private pool. All bedrooms have stunning views of the Mediterranean.

Only an hour from Malaga airport and 1.5 hours from Granada airport. 15 minute walk to Competa square (or 5 minutes by car) with its many bars, restaurants, banks and lively square. 35 minutes from Nerja with its world famous caves, fine beaches and beach bars. Along the coast there are also many secluded beaches for those wanting to 'get away from it all'. Competa is a mass of brilliant white houses surrounded by countryside. A Moorish settlement in origin, it is now famous for its wine. Activities in the local area include walking, rambling, pony trekking hang gliding, tennis and swimming.

Ladera is also within easy walking distance of Canillas de Albaida and Archez, two more pretty Anadalucian villages. Ladera is reached by turning off the main road from Competa to Canillas de Albaida, by Jarel Bodega, 1 km down a private road.
