Villa Luz del Sol is on the valley side, 10 mins from the village of Competa. It has great views across the valley side and along the valley towards the coast. The villa is only 60 mins from Malaga airport and only 30 mins to Nerja and Bavairia golf course. Villa Luz del Sol was built in early 2005. It's bright and spacious with a lovely mix of rustic and modern fittings/furniture.

From the front door you enter the lounge area with wood burning stove, Satellite TV, DVD and CD. There are a range of dvds, cds and games (chess, draughts, dominos, card games etc).

To the right of the lounge is the inside dining area with seating for 6 around a large table by the log burner fire. Opposite the dining area is the fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and all the utensils/crockery for dining in and out.

The master bedroom has a king size wrought iron bed plus lots of storage space. Off the master bedroom is an en-suite with full bath/shower, toilet and washbasin. Also off the master bedroom there is a large patio door leading out onto a large terrace with gazebo which houses a wicker suite and lighting.

The second bedroom is also a large room with two single beds and lots of storage (will easily accommodate a travel cot). Next to this room is a shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Two further guest beds are available in the villa with matresses, to make the occupancy up to 6.

Outside the private pool (10 by 5 mtrs) can be floodlit during the evening. There is a large terrace with a dining table with 6 chairs and parasol for alfresco dining plus sunloungers with pads.

There is also parking ample parking.

Competa has a number of bars, restaurants, shops, banks and a weekly market (Saturday morning). In the surrounding area there are lots of whitewashed Andalucian villages to visit (different villages have their own fiestas and ferias (fairs) at different times of the year - Competa has 'Vino de Noche' (night of wine) which is an evening of music and wine in the main square (15th August). Also in the area are good walks, horseriding, 4x4 trips and good golf not to mention the beaches of Nerja or Torrox Costa (30 mins). Travel a bit further afield and you have Granada with its Alhambra Palace, Nerja caves, water parks at Velez Malaga and Torremolinos. In winter ideal for walking holidays or even ski trips to the Sierra Nevada (about 2 hours drive away).
