Quality and style in a traditional village house! Casa Muñeca is a one bedroom townhouse in the heart of Cómpeta, which has been fully reformed without losing any of its charm and character. A very short walk from car parking and close to the main square, this little house is a gem.

At street level there is the light filled dining room and a sitting room, with a comfortable sofabed, TV/video (in English), CD player and radio. Three steps up from the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen with stone worktop, electric hob, mini oven, toaster, juicer, plates and glasses etc. The double bedroom upstairs has an en-suite bathroom with a large shower. Opposite the bedroom is the utility room where you'll find the washing machine, gas hot water boiler, iron and ironing board. Stairs lead from there to the small roof terrace which overlooks the village rooftops down the valley to the sea. Relax up here with a book or a glass of Cómpeta wine or have a BBQ on summer days.

Casa Muneca is ideal for either a couple or single person and is suitable for long or short lets. The sofabed can accommodate a 3rd person. The house has been finished to a high standard and the furnishings chosen with care and attention to detail. The owner is a British artist who lives locally, so help is never far away.

Prices are per week. Rates include linen, towels, a welcome food basket and normal (summer) use of electricity and gas for up to 3 people. A baby cot or stair gate can be organised at a supplementary cost. Discounts can be negotiated for stays longer than 3 weeks. Heating in the winter months is provided by gas and electric heaters. The house is cleaned on arrival, any further cleaning and fresh linen changes depend on length of stay and can be discussed. Both a booking (50%) and breakages (£100) deposit are required. The breakages deposit is fully refundable after departure if the house is left as found. Neither the village nor the house are easy for the elderly or infirm to negotiate, there are some steep streets and stairs.
