xxxxAccuracy of information

• It is the owner’s responsibility to supply Cómpeta Direct with accurate information. Cómpeta Direct will not be held responsible in any way for this information. However, Cómpeta Direct reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to edit information supplied. Any offensive or inappropriate text will be removed, text may be reduced if word limits are exceeded and we reserve the right to correct grammar and spelling.
• Cómpeta Direct will not be held responsible for any typographical, grammatical or any other error on the site.
• It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that all information supplied is up to date, and notify Cómpeta Direct of any changes required.
• Cómpeta Direct reserves the right, and entirely at its own discretion, and without notice, to remove in its entirety, any property details from the site, if we receive any substantiated complaints regarding a booking, property or transaction from any renter or for any other reason that we feel may make this necessary.

xxxxLiabilities

• Cómpeta Direct takes no responsibility for any transactions or negotiations between property owners and site visitors. It is the owner’s responsibility to agree and fix terms of rental and pricing with the renter.
• Cómpeta Direct accepts no responsibility for any problems arising out of those negotiations. Competa Direct is not liable for loss of income due to cancellation, changes to bookings, damage to property, theft etc.
• Cómpeta Direct does not warrant that the operation of the site will be uninterrupted and error free. In no event shall Cómpeta Direct be liable to the owner for any special, consequential, incidental or indirect damages, including loss of income, however caused. Cómpeta Direct makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for the services provided.

xxxxYour responsibilities

• It is the owner’s responsibility to answer any property enquiries generated by this site promptly and accurately. Failure to reply promptly, may lead to removal of a property from this site.
• Should the owner require their property to be removed from the site, Cómpeta Direct will undertake to do this within a time period of no more than 5 working days, from receipt of a written request from the owner to do so.
• It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that all information supplied is up to date, and notify Cómpeta Direct of any changes required.
• The owner agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Cómpeta Direct harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims asserted against Cómpeta Direct that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed. The owner agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Cómpeta Direct against liabilities arising from any injury to person or property, any material supplied by the owner infringing or allegedly infringing on the rights of a third party, copyright infringement or any other infringement.

xxxxCopyright

• All original copy and images supplied for use on the site will remain the property of the owner.
• Cómpeta Direct shall be entitled to reproduce part or whole of any photographic material or text supplied. Cómpeta Direct claims copyright to the electronic pages and images of the material supplied by the owner.
• It is assumed that the owner holds title to the copyright for all material supplied and Cómpeta Direct are free to use this material without fear of breach of copyright laws. The owner therefore undertakes to indemnify Cómpeta Direct against any claims for breach of copyright where this is not the case.
• Cómpeta Direct will make every effort to safeguard materials supplied, but cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage, however caused, to materials supplied.
• All code and any programming related to the display of the content of the site remains the property of Cómpeta Direct. The reproduction in part or whole of any part of this site is strictly forbidden, without the express permission from Cómpeta Direct.

xxxxPayment

• The owner undertakes to pay a commission of 10% of the rental price agreed with the renter to Cómpeta Direct, on receipt of payment of deposit from the renter, prior to their arrival. Commissions can be paid in either Sterling or Euros. Cómpeta Direct will supply details for payment on completion of the booking.
• Cancellations (where a non-refundable deposit has been paid) will incur a commission of 10% of the rental price, on receipt of payment of depisit from the renter.
• The owner agrees to pay all costs incurred by Cómpeta Direct in relation to pursuing outstanding payments or any claims for payment made through a court of law or other method, as deemed fit by Cómpeta Direct.

xxxxAcceptance

• It shall be deemed that the owner has read and agreed to these terms in full, on supplying material/text for inclusion on the site.
• Cómpeta Direct reserves the right to revise its terms and conditions and policies at any time. It is therefore the owners responsibility to periodically check these terms for changes.
