Casa Rey Studio Apartment is self-catering accommodation on the ground floor of the owner’s main residence, Casa Rey. It is situated approximately 2km from the beautiful, white Andalucian village of Cómpeta in the heart of the Axarquia region. Only 35 minutes to the coastal resort of Nerja.

The apartment is both air conditioned and centrally heated with a double bed and en-suite bath/shower room including hand basin and toilet. Towels and bed linen are provided. As well as a lounge area the studio has its own kitchen area with oven, hob, fridge, sink and plenty of storage room. Cutlery, kitchenware and appliances are provided. Dining table and chairs are available as well as a private seating area with outdoor table and chairs for dining ‘al fresco’ or just sitting and enjoying the spectacular views down the valley and the Mediterranean beyond. The studio is decorated with a traditional terracotta tiled floor and is centrally heated for the cooler winter months.

For those wanting to 'keep in touch' there's unlimited Wi-Fi internet access available at a cost of 10 euro per week.

The owners have their own private swimming pool which is available for use by guests with loungers provided on the surrounding sun terrace and further views down to Nerja on the coast.

The property backs onto the Parque Natural of La Sierra de Tejeda, which is easily reachable by foot for those who enjoy walking and exploring this beautiful part of Axarquia. Cómpeta itself offers an excellent choice of restaurants and bars with food and wine from the region including the famous Cómpeta wine, celebrated with its own annual wine festival in August.

Casa Rey is situated approx 600m along an unmade road off the Cómpeta to Torrox road. A car is recommended although the owners may be able to arrange pick-up from Málaga airport and provide a taxi service into the village. Please enquire for further details.

For those who would like to explore the area by cycle, the owners have two quality mountain bikes available for hire (men's 'Specialised' and lady's 'Kona') at a rate of 10 euros per day (with a deposit required of 200 euros to cover damage/loss). Helmets can be supplied. The owners also offer laundry cleaning at 3.50 euros per load.
