Las Sierras is situated on the outskirts of Competa, one of Andalucia’s famous “white villages” nestling below the mountains. This ground floor apartment is accessed by tarmac road, with parking directly outside. It is light and airy and is in a block of just 4 apartments. There is gas central heating for the winter months. It is well equipped and furnished. There are fruit trees outside and country walks directly on your door step. The area is a walker’s paradise.

The apartment is situated 2 minutes drive from the centre of Competa, a large village of 3,000 inhabitants (a number being north European). This picturesque place has several shops, bars, small super markets, excellent restaurants and even an internet café!

Directly behind, the Sierra Almijara mountains are a protected national park giving access to unlimited walking, photography, painting and bird watching. The more adventurous can try horse riding, quad or motorbike tours or Paragliding. So whilst being a tranquil place it really offers something for everybody.

The apartment is accessed directly from the car park, where there is parking for 8 cars. There is one small step up and the apartment inside is all on one level.

The sofa extends into a single bed and a travel cot is provided for babies. Also available: hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack and beach towels.

Outside there are communal gardens which include a number of ornamental and fruit trees.

Accommodation

Las Sierras sleeps up to 3 people plus a baby/toddler. The accommodation comprises:

One bedroom with either a double or 2 single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps and fan.
Bathroom with shower, WC, basin, washing machine.
Fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, electric oven/hob, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, equipped with all cooking utensils.
A large comfortable, bright living room with dining table and 6 chairs, sofa bed (which can open into a single bed), 2 arm chairs, UK satellite TV (BBC).
Patio doors leading to a small terrace with table and chairs plus 2 sun loungers. Views to the mountains and to the sea.

Rates

There is a £20 weekly charge during the winter months for gas central heating - if required.

Prices are per week, inclusive of electricity, bed linen, towels and beach towels for up to three people. Short breaks are available throughout the year, please contact us for prices and availability. Changeover day is flexible. Arrival after 2pm, departure by 10am, unless otherwise agreed. A 50% non refundable deposit is payable on booking with the balance payable on arrival in either Sterling or Euros at the current exchange rate. On receipt of deposit, full directions will be supplied.
