The Studio:
Casa Sol is a villa plus self contained studio (built in 1996) in a large plot of approx 3068 m2 with a beautiful sun terrace, pool, outside bar-b-que and sun canopy, only 5 mins drive from the nearby village of Cómpeta.
Casa Sol stands in mature gardens with 24 olive trees, there are also lemon, avocado and grapefruit trees. It is approached through double wrought iron gates up a drive with enough parking for up to 5 cars.
Casa Sol offers a good base for walkers in the cooler months. For nature lovers the Sierra Almijara has a wealth of flora and fauna with eagles regularly flying over the house. It is ideal for the artist or for those who simply wish to get away from it all and relax in sun and seclusion within easy reach of the coast and near by mountain villages. For those with children there are water parks, zoos and many other places of interest to visit all within easy reach.
The house and studio are spacious and bright. They are tastefully and comfortably furnished, cool in the summer (with overhead ceiling fans) and warm in the winter with gas radiators and the open fire. The main house can be rented on it's own or together with the self contained studio. (Please note, the studio is not let out on its own.)
Accommodation
The main house sleeps up to 6 people (4+2):
Two twin bedrooms.
Large open plan sitting room/dining room with double sofa bed, open fire place, TV/DVD, stereo/tape/cd player and high ceilings.
Fully fitted kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, gas hob, kettle, toaster and iron).
Bathroom.
The studio sleeps up to 3 people (2+1):
Two twin beds plus a chair bed with a separate bathroom and dining area.
Equipped with its own fridge, kettle, toaster and a microwave.

Prices are per week, inclusive of electricity. Bed linen and towels are provided at an additional charge of £25/35 euro (please bring your own beach towels) for up to nine people. Please note that the studio cannot be rented on its own. If the main house is rented on its own, the studio will not be rented out at the same time. Changeover day is Saturday during the summer months, flexible for the rest of the year. Arrival after 2pm, departure by 10am. A 50% non refundable deposit is payable on booking with the balance due four weeks before arrival.
