La Tienda is a fully restored Spanish Town House, situated in a quiet street off of the main square of the village of Competa, a white washed village set high in the mountains 18km from the coast. The house is in immaculate condition inside and out and has balconies and terraces bedecked with flowers, so typical of the region.

The property is situated in a quiet street and has a wonderful roof terrace, which has been designed by a local designer, it has wonderful views over Competa and the mountains and has an area for dining al fresco or a barbeque and another area for sun bathing and relaxing. It has many typically Spanish flowers and vines that scent the night air, if you wish dine on the terrace or have a barbeque; you are very welcome to do so.

The double door entrance opens on to an Entrance Hall, which has a selection of leaflets and books about the local area, all of which are available for guests to browse through, stairs lead to the upper floors of the house and double doors lead to the ground floor Limon Suite.

La Tienda has central heating throughout, hairdryers in all apartments, cooking facilities in all suites, free Wi fi throughout, satellite television in all suites, free washing and drying facilities. There is a cot (for a baby) available on request. There are a selection of DVDs available, a selection of books and all modern amenities. Complimentary toiletries, fruit basket and Wine.

Limon Suite (sleeps 2)
The ground floor Limon Suite comprises of a Lounge, Kitchenette, Bedroom and Shower-room, beautifully furnished with antique furniture, luxury quality double bed and bed linen, all in a style which compliments this unique property, windows open on the quiet street and have shutters for privacy, the window sills are adorned with plants and flowers.

The Kitchenette which is directly off the Salon and entered via double doors has a Microwave, 2-ring cooker and is beautifully decorated with typically Andalucian hand made tiles and an Andalucian sink, it is fully equipped.

The double bedroom, which has ample storage, is entered by a door up two steps and is beautifully furnished with top quality bed and linen, this room has an en-suite shower room. All towels and linen are provided.

Pimiento Suite (sleeps 2)
The Pimiento Suite, with a window with a balcony with plants and flowers that overlooks the front of the property, has been furnished with a settee and an arm chair, a dining table with chairs and a kitchen area with Andalucian sink and tiles. Fully equipped for the purpose, there is also a cooker, microwave and fridge. This is a delightful room, tranquil and accommodating.

Doors lead into the double bedroom, which has a wardrobe and quality luxury bed, and linen, the window in this room opens onto the street below and is adorned with flowers and plants. This room in turn leads to the well-appointed shower room. All towels and linen are provided.

Adjerez Suite (sleeps 1)
The Adjerez Suite door opens onto the kitchen and dining area which is beautifully designed with hand made tiles and an Andalucian sink inset into the work area, opposite the sink is the table for dining, this area is fully equipped and has a microwave, fridge and cooker.

At the end of this room up two steps is the bedroom which has an area for hanging clothes and a single bed, again top quality with beautiful linen. This room has a window which overlooks part of the village.

A further door leads into the shower room, which is unique as it is built into the mountainside; this is really one of the quirky features of this outstanding property. All towels and linen are provided.

Prices are inclusive of electricity, bedlinen and towels (please bring your own beach towels). A 50% non refundable deposit is payable on booking with the balance due on arrival. Arrival after 2pm and departure by 10am, unless otherwise agreed.
