El Torin (and La Reserva) are in the mountainous part of Frigiliana above the source of the river Higueron in Los Almachares only a few metres from the Axarquia National Park and the Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama mountain ranges.

With great sea views, the two cottages are only 200 metres away from the National Park of Sierra Almijara. With its National Park status and mountainous terrain there are few houses in the area making it a great place to relax and get away from it all whilst being within reach of Frigiliana and Nerja.

The cottages were designed and built in 2001 by the owners who carefully selected the materials used to maintain a relationship with the natural environment, aiming to make them comfortable with a natural look and feel, in order to harmonise with the National Park.

The cottages are a great place to escape to, surrounded by olive groves and pine woods. From time to time you may see squirrels, foxes, rabbits, mountain goats, wild boar, partridge, eagles, and other wild creatures.

El Torin is fully equipped with everything you need for complete relaxation in a completely natural environment - a place where you will really feel at home.

The owners feel that the cottages are 'above the rest' both metaphorically and physically. The cottage benefits from a log fire, air conditioning, satellite TV, dishwasher, FREE internet access and private swimming pool.

Please be aware that El Torin and La Reserva are in a rural area on the mountain side on the edge of the National Park above Frigiliana. The road leading to the houses is mainly unmade until you reach the houses where it is surfaced. Please bear this in mind if booking during the wetter parts of the year. The owners will be happy to provide further information on the roads leading to the house if required.

Prices are per week, inclusive of electricity, bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels and cot bedding) for up to four people. Payment can be made in either Euros or Sterling (including cheques). Changeover day is flexible. Arrival after 2pm, departure by 10am. A 50% non refundable deposit is payable on booking with the balance due four weeks before arrival.
